Southside Fire Extinguisher & Equipment Company was founded in 1986 by Edward Bond, then retired Fire Chief in Courtland Virginia. As a lifelong firefighter and member of the Virginia Firefighters Association, Ed was instrumental in developing Training and fire services.
After passing in 2004, Ed’s wife, Lynda Bond, maintains controlling share of Southside Fire Extinguisher & Equipment Company, Inc. Southside is registered with eVA and also registered in SwAM for the state of Virginia, in addition to membership with the NFPA.
